| RASSL, Reference Association of South Suburban Libraries, a forum for
reference librarians in the southern suburbs of Chicago, provides opportunities
for increasing knowledge, sharing information, networking with colleagues, and
supporting fellow librarians.
Among the group's many activities are hosting speakers on various topics related to reference work, conducting field trips to area cultural and educational institutions and maintaining an online Community Organization Guide (COG). Individual members represent RASSL on the MLS Reference Advisory Committee. RASSL meets on the first Thursday in October, February, and April and on the second Thursday in December and June at 9:15 a.m. at various member libraries. For schedule see below. |
